Honestly, this Santana business is quite tiresome. Enough rumors already! However, up until two days ago, I really thought that the Mets had little chance to pull off a Johan Santana trade so my annoyance was justified, at least to myself. But then news like this comes out and now my hopes are perhaps unrealistically high.

I still don't want to lose Fernando Martinez, but just the thought of Mets P.A. announcer Alex Anthony introducing "Jooohan Sannntana" before a game gives me the chills. Omar, do what you have to do and pull the trigger!

So, my question to you today is, if the Mets fail to acquire Johan Santana, what will you do?
