Terry Francona has been put on a watch list by MLB to ensure he wears his jersey under his jacket.

In an article for the Boston Globe, Nick Cafardo notes that the Red Sox manager was upset this morning that an MLB security person made him show that he was wearing his uniform top in the second inning of Wednesday night's game with Derek Jeter at second base.

MLB exec Bob Watson had asked Francona to start wearing his uniform top or at least have it on underneath a jacket or top.

"That was as embarrassed as I've been in a long time for baseball," Francona said at his pregame press conference today.

At one point Francona said he told the security person, "Can you wait a second?" The security person said, "No."

That's awful. Francona probably hasn't worn a jersey top in years and they couldn't wait a few minutes to bother him? Ridiculous. At least the Mets weren't the only team to get sweeped today, ugh.
