The Mets had a great walk off win tonight!  They showed the ability to bounce back after losing the lead, and their perseverance paid off. It finally feels like the Mets we have been waiting for. Winning seven of their last eight, scoring five or more runs in their last nine games, and seeing players like Carlos Beltran finally get in a groove (nine RBI in last two games) is just what the doctor ordered. A nice five game lead in the East makes it a perfect time to get hot and extend that buffer. Keep it up fellas!

These two created this little diddy about new Braves 1B Mark Teixeira. I gotta admit it's kind of funny, especially the last line, but still it's strange and slightly disturbing.  And no guys, the Mets aren't skerred!
