They also point out the fascinating history of Wiffleball which you have to read.
Sad that this is what I resort to blogging about when there are no meaningful games being played.

BMF has an accurate depiction of yesterday's Home Run Derby:
"Who the F- was the pudgy camera hog running around in the “Jordan the
Barber” T-Shirt during the HR Derby??? Dude got more air time than Alex
Rios!" That 2 hour first round where players were maxing out at 5 home runs was so boring that I was watching my pip over Ryan Howard who hit ground balls for ten minutes. Good thing Vlad salvaged it at the end there. I guess no one wants the "curse of the home run derby" because about ten players declined participation before Matt Holliday and Alex Rios accepted. I guess they need to pay the contestants as an incentive to join next year. |

**METS FUN FACT** In 1966, the Mets chose not to select Reggie Jackson with the first overall pick. Instead, they took Steve Chilcott, a catcher who would never make it to the Major Leagues. Most Viewed Posts
