After their win last night, I'm allowing myself to blog again. Leave it to Oliver to "twist " the Mets back to how they were playing before their latest slump. Last night's win was well worth the beer that was thrown at me for supporting my team amidst a sea of navy blue. Watching that same sea celebrate a home run that Carlos Gomez denied them and then to double up Hideki Matsui was well worth the derogatory chants thrown at me for three hours. I wonder if they know what we go through for them as they try to their best to tune out the Yankee crowd. That crowd once again did a great job of driving home why I despise Yankee fans. Thank you Mets for sticking it to them for me. Welcome back guys, finally you played the way you are capable of playing, now don't forget how!

**METS FUN FACT** In 1966, the Mets chose not to select Reggie Jackson with the first overall pick. Instead, they took Steve Chilcott, a catcher who would never make it to the Major Leagues. Most Viewed Posts
