Former Mets pitcher Steve Trachsel speaks out about last year's postseason, his 15 wins in 2006, and the pressures of being...well, Steve Trachsel in a recent article by Roch Kubatko for the Baltimore Sun.

Trachsel as quoted by Kubatko:

"I won 15 games. Why doesn't that number count? It didn't count because I had a high ERA. But what about the years I had a low ERA and didn't win games? You can't have it both ways. You can't pick and choose which numbers you want to look at."

Trachsel is 5-4 with a 3.82 ERA in 13 starts this season.

I kind of feel bad for the guy. He was a Met for a long time and although he seemed washed up, he was left out there to dry for a long time. Glad to see he's doing good in Baltimore.
