David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported this weekend that Chipper Jones is confident that the Atlanta Braves will win the NL East.

Chipper said, as quoted by O'Brien:

"I find it shocking that we're being overlooked.We have a pulse. We're excited about this year. I really am" said Jones.

"I would love to be standing on some field at the end as National League champions, looking down on everybody else."

Time will tell Chipper, time will tell.

I hate Larry Jones and that's all I really have to say about that...Mike Hampton too actually.
