I feel very confident in the foundation that Omar and gang are laying down for the Mets' future. It really seems that he's focusing on keeping the talent that is worth keeping around.
I enjoy seeing this team of coaches work together, and feel that they have great chemistry. As I noted on MetsBlog, the chemistry between the coaching staff is just as important as the chemistry between the players. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
It's interesting to see all of their profiles on SNY during the season, and to see how the machine runs behind the scenes. Good job Omar, and with that I head to Beantown for the weekend to revel amongst a city full of Yankee haters.
