Here are my top 10 reasons why New York Mets fans are the best fans in all of baseball:

10) While at Shea, we are so focused on the team that we don't even notice that our seat is falling apart, and a rat is eating our peanuts.

9) We pull off wearing orange and blue together...well kind of.

8) We're so brave that we go to a place called Flushing and eat over-priced hot dogs.

7) Unlike Yankee Stadium, the closest we came to unanimously booing our players was in the 80's when Moooo-kie Wilson was on the team.

6) We have more beer vendors than the team has pitchers...by 2.

5) Our chants are always in unison thanks to a cowbell.

4) Unlike Red Sox fans, we love our team more than we hate the Yankees...slightly.

3) Because in the offseason, we go through such bad withdrawal that we write stupid blog posts like this one to pass the time.

2) Mr. Met is so cool that we wrestle each other to get his free t-shirts

1) We respect our elders, and even let them be in the starting rotation.
